The Halifax Planetarium at Dalhousie University presents 2 shows:

Title: The King of Beasts and the King of Planets

The southern spring sky is dominated by the constellation of Leo the Lion and its bright star, Regulus, the Little King. Following behind Leo is the bright planet Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system: 1000 times larger than Earth and 300 times as massive, earning it the title of King of Planets. It will be prominent in the sky for several months. Come and learn about these objects and other wonders of the night sky.

Weather conditions permitting there will be roof-top observing after the 8:45 show.

 Admission:  $5 (at the door); reductions for families (min. age 8 years)

State number of adults, and the number of children aged 8 to 15.

** Preference will be given to families with children for the 7:15 pm show **

The Show is about an hour long. Full details will be sent before the Show.
Please do not be late. No admission after the door closes.

Please note that shows are most suitable for ages 8 and up.
